Breakdowns remind us of who we are at our worst, but they also give us a chance to see who accepts us at the points when we aren’t ourselves.
Falling gives someone a chance to pick us up and dust us off and they become the voice that reminds us to “try again” and that we are “better than that” , because they believe that we are. Abiding is doing what is right in GOD’S eyes not ours. Abiding sometimes will be painful because the Word of GOD is the “knife” that GOD uses to prune and cleanse us. This is the time where we are faced with things that must be dealt with. Not always an easy thing to do, but with GOD it is possible. GOD’S Word does a spiritual cleansing in our hearts. Our part in the process is to yield ourselves to the cleansing work of the Word, so that His purpose will be fulfilled in us. He must first cut away parts of our lives that drain precious time and energy from what is truly important.
